The Fourth Quarter of Life was founded by Marilyn & Reggie McFerren (pictured). It was created to provide resources to specific demographic groups in our various communities to enhance many aspects of day-to-day living.
The focus of our services is to assist:
• Elderly citizens
• People with disabilities
• Military veterans
The Fourth Quarter’s vision is also to provide programs to help participants get out of the house for many fun activities and to engage with others who also have limited opportunities for social interactions. All services provided and transportation arrangements are free of charge.
The scheduling of activities will include:
• Music and related entertainment events
• Domino and card tournaments
• Spiritual enhancement exercises
• Lunch and dinner celebrations and outings
• And additional activities as interests suggest
• All provided at no cost to participants.
The Fourth Quarter’s ultimate goal is to improve the emotional, mental, and physical conditions of all who participate by providing them with activities that will enhance their cognitive fitness and improve their mental and physical activity. It is the organization’s philosophy that we are never too old to have fun to help keep us youthful and mentally sharp, which are the keys to living a long and enjoyable life.
